The obverse of the coin artistically depicts a stylised artist's palette. It also bears the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania (Vytis) on a relief surface, which is surrounded by the inscriptions LIETUVA, 2012 and 10 LITŲ (10 litas). There is an oval aperture in the coin, which runs through the numeral “0”.
The reverse of the coin artistically depicts a stylised artist's palette.
On the edge of the coin: LIETUVOS KULTŪRA*DAILĖ (LITHUANIAN CULTURE*FINE ARTS).
